Later, the Dogcatcher caught Reggie after he was chasing Scamp and Angel. Eventually, due to Buster's actions, he captures Scamp without a collar, having him sent to the pound. In the end, he was defeated by Angel.

In one of the Disney adventure comics, he also ended up arrested when, while trying to hunt down Scamp and Angel, accidentally put his dog-catching net on a bunch of wigs at a wig shop and on the wig shop owner.
